Availability/Booking

Please check availability on our calendar above. Bookings are usually taken from Saturday to Saturday. Rentals are from 4pm on your arrival date and we ask that you vacate the property by 10am the following Saturday. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these days/times as we do try to accommodate all requests.

Prices are shown in Swiss Francs; payments to be made in Swiss francs (Chf) by bank transfer please.

Included in the price:
The price shown for the week includes quality bed linen and towels for up to 12 people. The price also includes the cleaning of the chalet, although we do ask that you leave the chalet tidy.

Electricity is charged locally at 0.4 Chf per Kw. At the start and at the end of your stay we will read the electricity meter and take payment for this, cash please.
Firewood is available (to be paid locally) please indicate if required on your booking form.
On arrival we take credit card details as security in case of damage to the chalet, or if excessive cleaning is necessary.
Tourist tax is payable in cash at the start of your holiday.

To confirm a reservation a 25% deposit will be required with the full sum due 8 weeks before your stay.

Spring/Summer/Autumn

The chalet is also available for rent in the summer months. The mountains are a wonderful place in the summer, with fresh clean air and a wide choice of activities.
***VIP Pass*** Play again and again and again ! All visitors to La Tzoumaz are required to pay tourist tax and in return you receive your VIP Pass (summer only), which gives free pedestrian access to some of the lifts, 50% reduction with your bike and lots of discounts on activities throughout the area. The village of La Tzoumaz boasts several children’s play areas – climbing frame etc in the central square; slides and water features, zip wire and other climbing frames just on the hillside beside this and the Espace Nature, both educational and lots of fun! – including the Maison de la Foret with another play area and wooden musical exhibition and cafe, the River Challenge and Footpath of the senses, the local dairy where you can see cheese made from the milk of cows grazing on our alpine pastures,  lots of walking & hiking routes, mountain biking for the more energetic, time for relaxing outside, visiting local small producers for wine tasting, and always with stunning views all around. We are always pleased to supply information or suggest other things to do and places to visit.

Summer pricing is very simple:
Chf 3300 for a weekly rental, discounts apply to stays of 2 weeks or more
Electricity used during your stay is charged separately on site when you leave and tourist tax must be paid at check in.

Accommodation and Description
The chalet is laid out over 3 floors with underfloor heating throughout:
Ground Floor –
Entrance hall – bench, shelving for helmets, gloves etc, coat hooks, all running the length of the hallway. Ski boots and outdoor shoes can be stored here, with the underfloor heating they dry perfectly, however we also have a warm air boot dryer in the garage, along with ski & board storage.
Bedroom 1 ‘Isérables’ – Superking double bed or twin beds. 2 Bedside tables and lights, USB hubs and sockets. Built in cupboard with hanging rail and shelving. Hairdryer. UK and European adapters. Chest of drawers. Full length mirror. Marble topped vanity unit. Chair. Double glass doors to garden.
Ensuite bathroom 1 – Full size bath, quality shower over, glass panel. WC. Wash hand basin. Heated mirror. Heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2 ‘Prarion’ – Superking double bed or twin beds. 2 Bedside tables and lights, USB hubs and sockets. Built in cupboard with hanging rail and shelving. Hairdryer. UK and European adapters. Chest of drawers. Full length mirror. Antique wicker upholstered chair. Double glass doors to garden.

Bedroom 4 ‘Valon d’Arbi’ – Superking double bed or twin beds &/or optional bunk beds, to sleep up to 4 guests. 2 Bedside tables and lights, USB hubs and sockets. Built in cupboard with hanging rail and shelving. Full length mirror. Hairdryer. UK and European adapters. Vanity unit with drawers and shelves. Double glass doors to garden.

Sauna – L-shaped benches on 2 levels, for up to 8 persons. Hooks for bathrobes / towels.

First Floor –
Living space – is open plan, with a double height ceiling, showing-off the stunning woodwork, huge views from the windows and glass doors, a spacious area in which to relax in the squashy leather sofas in front of the log fire. TV screen, excellent sound system: music can be streamed from your phone or tablet.
Dining area – Meals are served around the elegant, large square table, allowing everyone plenty of elbow room.
Kitchen – Open to the dining and living areas. Access via the glass doors to the huge terrace and hot tub, please bring flip flops / crocs / spa sandals to access the jacuzzi.

Cloakroom – with WC and wash hand basin.
Bedroom 5 ‘Lac des Vaux’ – Superking double bed or twin beds. 2 Bedside tables and lights, USB hubs and sockets. Cupboard with hanging rail and shelving, mirror door. Additional wall mirror. Hairdryer. UK and European adapters. Vanity unit with drawers. Double glass doors to terrace.
Ensuite bathroom 5 – Large curved shower cubicle, glass panel. WC. Wash hand basin. Heated mirror. Heated towel rail.

Second Floor –
Mezzanine – Open to the living space below. Desk and cable internet access. Bookshelf and games. Tripod binoculars.
Bedroom 6 ‘Mont Gélé’ – Superking double bed or twin beds. 2 Bedside tables and lights, USB hubs and sockets. Cupboard with hanging rail, shelving and drawers, mirror door. Hairdryer. UK and European adapters. Vanity unit with drawers and shelving. Antique chair. Enormous triangular picture windows. Square tilt & turn window.
Ensuite bathroom 6 – Large curved shower cubicle, glass panel. WC. Wash hand basin. Heated mirror. Heated towel rail.
Cinema/TV room – big soft beanbags, black out blind, a 55″ Smart TV – log on to your Netflix account, etc,  UK & international cable channels, DVD player and film library.
Outside –
Jacuzzi – situated on the terrace just a few steps from the chalet. Magnificent views really add to the magic! Available for use after your day on the mountain, what could be a better way to restore some vigour to those aching muscles?  Please bring flip flops / crocs / spa sandals to access the jacuzzi.
Boules piste – play a match of petanque in the summer sunshine.
Deck chairs and sun loungers – relax on the terrace with a book and drink in those views!
Dining table – ideal for our summer BBQs!  Whenever possible, have breakfast outside in the summer months, such a lovely way to start the day 🙂
