Chalet des Coeurs is available for rent in the summer months too – it’s a wonderful place to stay: quiet, sunny, fabulous views…Relax in the garden with a book, ideal for family walks along the irrigation channels (bisses) or more strenuous hiking on the footpaths and trails; mountain biking, downhill and crosscountry routes, road biking too – the road up from Riddes to La Tzoumaz is the same length and altitude gain as Alpe d’Huez – we see the pros training! 2016 saw the Tour de France finish about 45 minutes from the chalet at Emosson/Finhaut, (20th July) which is a really tough mountain stage and a new finish point.
Rentals in the summer are Chf 1800 per week, plus Chf 25 for each person’s bedding and towels. Electricity is calculated on usage at the end of your stay and tourist tax is also due.

Availability/Booking
Please check availability on our calendar above. Bookings are usually taken from Saturday to Saturday. Rentals are from 4pm on your arrival date and we ask that you vacate the property by 10am the following Saturday. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these days/times as we do try to accommodate all requests.
Prices are shown in Swiss Francs; payments to be made in Swiss francs (Chf) by bank transfer.

The price shown for the week includes quality bed linen and towels for up to 8 people. Extra bedding is charged at Chf 25 per single bed. The price also includes the cleaning of the chalet, although we do ask that you leave the chalet tidy.
Electricity is charged locally at 0.3 Chf per Kw. At the start and at the end of your stay we will read the electricity meter and take payment for this, cash please.
Firewood is available (to be paid locally) please indicate if required on your booking form.
Please note that Epic Pass, Grand Valira, Sierra Nevada, Mt Ruapehu, Wanlong and Bankso ski pass holders will be charged a supplement when they book to stay at one of our rental properties. There is no supplement to stay at Chalet La Luge.
On arrival we take credit card details as security in case of damage to the chalet, or if excessive cleaning is necessary, etc.
Tourist tax is payable in cash at the start of your holiday.

Spring/Summer/Autumn
The chalet is also available for rent in the summer months. The mountains are a wonderful place in the summer, with fresh clean air and a wide range of activities for all ages.
***Guest Card VIP Pass*** Play again and again and again ! All visitors to La Tzoumaz are required to pay tourist tax and in return you receive your Guest Card VIP Pass (summer only), which gives free pedestrian access to some mountain lifts, 50% reduction with your bike and various other discounts on activities etc. Current info here ss
The village of La Tzoumaz boasts several children’s play areas – in the central square, zip wire, water games and other climbing frames just on the hillside beside this and the Espace Nature where you’ll find the Maison de la Foret with another play area, the new River Challenge area and exhibition rooms and cafe, cheese farm, lots of walking & hiking routes, mountain biking for the more energetic, time for relaxing outside, visiting local small producers for wine tasting, and always with stunning views all around. We are always pleased to supply information or suggest other things to do and places to visit.
Summer pricing is very simple:
Chf 1800 for a weekly rental, discounts apply to stays of 2 weeks or more
Chf 25 per person for bedding and towels (if 1 person takes a double bed, then the charge will be Chf 50).
Electricity used during your stay is charged separately on site when you leave and your tourist tax must also be paid.

Accommodation and Description
Chalet des Coeurs is a 4-bedroom chalet, in the village of La Tzoumaz with ski in, ski out access. It is a modern build with a traditional wooden exterior, lots of windows to maximise the stunning views of the Rhone valley and Bernese alps. It has a spacious interior, beautifully decorated and well equipped by the owners. It can accommodate up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms, there are 2 bathrooms, huge open plan living/dining room and kitchen. With everything you need and in a great location, it is a fantastic chalet for both summer sun and winter sports holidays.
Set amongst mature trees in a peaceful location, yet convenient for local shops and restaurants, approx 15 minute walk to village centre. Level parking for at least 2 cars (guaranteed summer only) otherwise there is roadside parking 10 metres from chalet. 10m from the blue piste which gives access to the lifts and the whole ski area. Free and fast broadband internet.
The chalet is laid out over 2 floors with underfloor heating throughout:
Ground Floor –
Entrance hall with warm boot storage (underfloor heating) and coat hanging
Large open plan living room – with corner wood burning fireplace, 2 big sofas, large wall mounted flat screen TV with mainstream UK channels and lots of international channels, DVD player and Bose Ipod compatible player, huge range of board games

Kitchen – Fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, teapot, and full range of crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment, cheese and meat fondue equipment, raclette .

Utility/ski room – Washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board/iron, vacuum cleaner. Accessible from both interior and the outside of the chalet

Several times we had a holiday in Suisse. This one is absolutely one of the best!
Not only is the communication with Mini perfect and flexible. Also the Chalet was stunning. With all the equipment it should be easy to fill in two rainy weeks In the chalet!
Everything was clean and tidy.
The environment was great. Much cheaper than Verbier (on the other side of the mountain) and still close enough to pay that beautiful place a visit.
The free transportation with the lift, cabins and buses are a big plus in this relatively expensive country. Also the voucher for 100CHF was a great gift!
