Availability/Booking
Please check availability on our calendar above. Rentals are normally Saturday to Saturday. Rentals are from 4pm on your arrival date and we ask that you vacate the property by 10am the following week. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these days/times as we do try to accommodate all requests.
Prices are shown in Swiss Francs; payments in Swiss francs (Chf) by bank transfer please.

The price shown for the week includes quality bed linen and towels for 10 people. The price also includes the cleaning of the chalet, although we do ask that you leave the chalet tidy.
The jacuzzi is optional, the price to use it is Chf 300. It will be cleaned and refilled with water for your use. Please note that it may not be fully hot on your arrival.
To confirm a reservation a 25% deposit will be required with the full sum due 8 weeks before departure.
On arrival we take credit card details as security in case of damage to contents &/or the chalet, or if excessive cleaning is necessary.
Electricity is charged locally at 0.3 Chf per Kw. At the start and at the end of your stay we will read the electricity meter, payment in cash on departure please.
Tourist tax is payable in cash at the start of your holiday. Chf 2.50 per adult per night, Chf 1.25 per child aged 6 – 15. Younger children are free.
Firewood is available (to be paid locally) please indicate if required on your booking form.

Lift passes, ski hire, lessons
Please note that Epic Pass, Grand Valira, Sierra Nevada, Mt Ruapehu, Wanlong and Bansko ski pass holders will be charged a supplement when they book to stay at one of our rental properties. There is no supplement to stay at Chalet La Luge.

Spring, Summer & Autumn
Summer pricing is very simple:
Chf 1650 for a weekly rental; discounts on 2 week bookings; includes cleaning at the end of your stay
Chf 25 per person for bedding and towels (if 1 person takes a double bed, then the charge will be Chf 50 due to laundry charges).
Electricity used during your stay is charged separately when you leave, calculated from the meter readings taken on arrival and again on departure.

Summer holidays
Chalet Snowfall is a fabulous location for the summer months too, in the autumn the colours of the trees make a stunning backdrop, it’s quiet, sunny, with fabulous views… Relax on the terrace with a book or your morning coffee; perfect for family walks along the gentle irrigation channels (bisses) or more strenuous hiking on the footpaths and trails; rent or bring your own bikes – mountain biking, downhill and crosscountry routes, road or gravel biking too – the road up from Riddes to La Tzoumaz is the same length and altitude gain as Alpe d’Huez – we regularly see the pro teams training! The Tour des Stations – the toughest cyclosportif passes through La Tzoumaz each summer with the finish up at the Croix de Coeur, a recommended spot at any time of the year !
***VIP Pass*** Play again and again and again ! All visitors to La Tzoumaz are required to pay tourist tax and in return you receive your VIP Pass (summer only), which gives free pedestrian access to some of the mountain lifts, 50% reduction with your bike; discounts on lots of activities in and around the area. The village of La Tzoumaz boasts several children’s play areas – trampoline, table tennis etc in the central square, zip wire and other climbing frames and water installation just on the hillside beside this. As you head up through the village there’s the Espace Nature, a recently developed area with interactive fun and games, close to the Maison de la Foret with another play area and mountain animal exhibition, a lovely cafe; buy cheese made on the farm from the cows you’ll see grazing on the mountain pastures, lots of walking & hiking routes, mountain biking for the more energetic, time for relaxing outside, local vineyards for wine tasting (the wines of Valais are mostly unknown, but well worth getting to know!) and always with stunning views everywhere.

Accommodation and Description
The chalet has four bedrooms that provide space for 10 guests to sleep comfortably.
Chalet Snowfall was built in 2008. Built over 4 floors, entry is via the garage, plenty of room for bikes and your car as well as ski and boot storage inside. Fabulous views! Situated on a private lane with only 10 other chalets, it is a quiet area, and only a short walk from the bus stop (100m – winter only), with a 2 minute journey to the slopes. The chalet is 10 minute walk (800m) from La Tzoumaz resort centre.
There is 1 bedroom with a double bed, 2 with 2 beds (they can easily be put together as a double, or as 2 singles) and 1 quad room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Full details below. We can provide a cot or 2, no charge, we just ask that you bring your own bedding for these.

The chalet is on 4 floors, with electric heating throughout:
Lower Ground Floor –
Garage parking for 1 car
Entrance Hallway – with coat hooks, storage for ski boots, skis, hiking boots etc
Ground Floor –
Bedroom 1 – 180cm bed (2 mattresses) with double glass doors to front balcony of chalet with lovely views. Very large wardrobe with hanging space, shelving and drawers, 2 long mirrors.
Bedroom 2 – 2 x 90cm beds(can be pushed together or left apart) with double glass doors to front balcony of chalet and lovely views. Very large wardrobe with hanging space, shelving and drawers, 1 long mirror.
Bathroom 1 – spacious with full length bath and shower over. WC and wash hand basin. Large storage cupboards, hairdryer, iron, window to rear of chalet
Bedroom 3 – 2 sets of bunks to sleep 4. Desk, large wardrobe with shelving and hanging space. Window to side of chalet.
First Floor –
Hallway – large cupboard with hanging space for coats etc.
Bathroom 2 – Shower room with wash hand basin and WC, mirror with cabinet, hairdryer, and window to side of chalet
Kitchen – Open plan to dining and living room with granite breakfast bar with stools. Fridge with separate freezer compartment above. Built-in microwave oven with steam and grill functions. Miele multi-function main oven. Dishwasher. Electric ceramic hob. Toaster, electric whisk, stick blender, coffee percolator, kettle, electric carving knife, electric raclette for 8, small electric fondue. Well equipped with all necessary crockery, cutlery and utensils etc.
Dining area – extendable table, for at least 10 people, glass doors to outside, both front and side of chalet.
Living area – 3 seater sofa, 2 armchairs, pouf, low table, bench-style storage seats and cushions. Fireplace with glass front. Glass doors to front of chalet and those lovely views.
Mezzanine / 2nd floor –
Open to living area below with rails. Small TV (Chrome Cast), L-shaped sofa, shelving, 2 windows, storage chest
Bedroom 4 – Fully enclosed bedroom with 2 x 90cm beds for 2 people; It’s a large bedroom, partly full height with a sloping ceiling.
NEW – additional bathroom, with shower, basin and toilet. Photos coming soon!
Outside –
***NEW*** Fabulous new jacuzzi on the same level as 3 of the bedrooms. Easy access.
The terrace has outside dining furniture, comfortable seating, parasol, BBQ, a lawned area and large terrace. Garage / parking for 3 cars.

Wat een prachtig chalet ! We hebben oprecht genoten van leze prahtige Chalet en haar omgeving
Voor ons een eerste keer in zwitserland. een prachtige plek waaein we ons elke keer konden witgagen met de vele kuke (Gezins) activitieten om daarna heerlyk ‘thuis’ te komen in Snowfall waar we heerlyk konden ontspannen, genieten v/h witzicht, bbq-en oj lekker een filmpje kyken ! alles was tot in de puntjes gerefeld en verzorgd !! What a beautiful chalet! We really enjoyed this beautiful chalet and its surroundings
For us a first time in Switzerland. a beautiful place where we could spend every time with the many fun (Family) activities and then delicious ‘home’ to come in Snowfall where we could relax, enjoy the snowy mountain view, bbq-ing or watch a good movie ! everything was refined and cared for to the last detail! Thanks:)
