Please check availability on our calendar above. Bookings are usually taken from Saturday to Saturday. Rentals are from 4pm on your arrival date and we ask that you vacate the property by 10am the following Saturday. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these days/times as we do try to accommodate all requests.
Prices are shown in Swiss Francs; payments to be made in Swiss francs (Chf) by bank transfer, or by credit card (2% charge applies to Visa and MasterCard payments).
Included in the price:
The price shown for the week includes quality bed linen and towels for up to 12 people. Extra bedding is charged at Chf 25 per single bed. The price also includes the cleaning of the chalet, although we do ask that you leave the chalet tidy.
Electricity is charged locally at 0.3 Chf per Kw. At the start and at the end of your stay we will read the electricity meter and take payment for this, cash please.
Firewood is available (to be paid locally) please indicate if required on your booking form.
On arrival we take credit card details as security in case of damage to the chalet, or if excessive cleaning is necessary.
Tourist tax is payable in cash at the start of your holiday.
Please note that Epic Pass, Grand Valira, Sierra Nevada, Mt Ruapehu, Wanlong and Bansko ski pass holders will be charged a supplement when they book to stay at one of our rental properties. There is no supplement to stay at Chalet La Luge.

To confirm a reservation a 25% deposit will be required with the full sum due 8 weeks before your stay.
The chalet is also available for rent in the summer months. The mountains are a wonderful place in the summer, with fresh clean air and a wide choice of activities.
***VIP Pass*** Play again and again and again ! All visitors to La Tzoumaz are required to pay tourist tax and in return you receive your VIP Pass, which gives free pedestrian access to the lifts (summer only) 50% reduction with your bike and various other discounts on activities etc. More info here : VIP pass
The village of La Tzoumaz boasts several children’s play areas – trampoline, table tennis etc in the central square, zip wire and other climbing frames just on the hillside beside this and the Maison de la Foret with another play area and mountain animal exhibition and cafe, cheese farm, lots of walking & hiking routes, mountain biking for the more energetic, time for relaxing outside, visiting local small producers for wine tasting, and always with stunning views all around. We are always pleased to supply information or suggest other things to do and places to visit.
Summer pricing is very simple:
Chf 1650 for a weekly rental, discounts apply to stays of 2 weeks or more
Chf 25 per person for bedding and towels (if 1 person takes a double bed, then the charge will be Chf 50).
Electricity used during your stay is charged separately on site when you leave and your tourist tax must also be paid.

Accommodation and Description
Chalet Daim is a large, spacious and beautifully decorated modern 5 bedroom chalet. Boasting ski in/ski out access via the private funicular lift, also situated close to the telecabine and resort centre (300m), with double garage and parking directly outside the chalet.
This chalet accommodates 12 people in 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, separate snug/TV room, separate WC.
The chalet has 3 floors with underfloor heating throughout:
Ground Floor –
Wide entrance hall with shoe rack, hooks for your coats
Bedroom 1 – with double bed, wardrobe with hanging space and drawers, direct access to the bathroom with shower attachment over
Bedroom 2 – with twin beds (option for a 3rd bed), wardrobe with hanging space and drawers
Bathroom with double access, from both the entrance hall and bedroom 1. With WC, wash hand basin, bath and shower attachment over
Technical room, with washing machine, tumble dryer and space for drying clothes
Access to double garage with ski and board storage, warm air heated boot rack
First Floor –
As you ascend the stairs the space of this chalet becomes apparent. A huge open-plan living area, dining area and kitchen are immediately accessible.
The living area focusses on the lovely corner fireplace, with glass front for safety. There are 2 huge leather sofas. Several armchairs provide seating for everyone. There is also a TV with international channels. Free and fast internet wifi access.
The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses, baking pans and dishes, frying pans, saucepans, chopping boards etc. Of course there is a dishwasher, full size oven with multi-features, microwave, grill, toaster, kettle, induction hob.
The lovely antique pine dining table easily seats 12.
Off to one side is the kids den & play room with a 2nd TV and DVD player. Adjoining this room is a separate WC.
The balcony and terrace wrap around the living area with large glass doors and windows – and the views are fantastic!
To the side is the large terrace with wooden table and chairs and a BBQ. A lovely place to eat your breakfast and lunch in the summer months.
Second floor –
Bedroom 3 – Twin bedroom (option for a 3rd bed) with cupboards and drawers for clothes storage, window to rear
Bedroom 4 – Double bedroom with double glass doors to top balcony, cupboards and drawers for clothes storage
Bedroom 5 – Master Double bedroom, en-suite bathroom with large corner bath and shower attachment. Cupboards and drawers for clothes storage, double glass doors to the top balcony and magnificent views across the valleys.
Family bathroom – double sink, full size bath, separate shower unit.
The chalet has stair gates if required. We can supply cot and high chair on request, we ask that you bring your own baby bedding.
Outside – There is a balcony around 3 sides of the chalet. For the summer months there’s a BBQ on the terrace. Double garage for 2 cars (height 2.23m), additional parking in front of chalet. Ski rack and warm air boot warmer in the garage.
